Marketing & Customer Communications (Elective)

This course introduces participants to the language and fundamental concepts of marketing and seeks to provide understanding of the key elements of getting the correct message to your target customer groups. Particpants will explore Advertising, Sales Promotion, Publin Relations, Personal Selling, and Direct Marketing, in order to utilise the appropriate channel for achieving business objectives.

As a result of understanding martketing and customer communciations, participants will be better equipped to construct initiatives to reach the customer groups critical to the business's success and drive sales.

General Course Aims: 

• Become competent in the principles of marketing communications
• Apply marketing communication tools in the workplace
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of marketing communications in achieving organisational objectives
• Communication topics include Advertising, Sales Promotion, Publin Relations, Personal Selling, and Direct Marketing

In order to meet the requirements for accreditation, particpants will be required to submit a Project. The due date for this assessment to be submitted is 24 November 2011.

This is Level 6, FETAC minor award (Marketing Communications - N32644) and a component of the Major Award Advanced Certificate in Management (BMANX).
