The Programme is made up of 10 short management skills courses, ranging in length from ½ day to 2 days. Each course has been specifically designed by Fáilte Ireland and industry training specialists to support today’s and tomorrow’s managers, providing the business tools and people skills necessary to deliver results in this competitive climate. You can choose to take any of these 10 courses. They range in cost from €125 – €300.
FETAC Advanced Certificate in Management
For each course you successfully complete, you will receive a FETAC Record of Achievement Certificate (Minor Award). Completing a course requires attendance at face-to-face training (or completion of e-learning activities) plus completion of a set of assessments. Each course has specific assessment requirements in the form of projects, assignments or examinations.
You may also choose to build towards a higher qualification. You will be awarded credits for each course you successfully complete. You can store up and carry forward these credits. If you successfully complete the 2 Core courses plus 6 additional (Elective) courses, you will receive a FETAC Advanced Certificate in Management (Level 6).
This flexible approach allows you to complete as many or as few course as you like.

Preferred entry level for the Advanced Certificate in Management is a Level 5 Certificate, Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant life and work experiences.
Please note that a maximum of two level 5 minors can be used towards this Level 6 award.
